Points Of Interest

Within a few miles of the Inn are the Montana de Oro State Park and the Morro Bay Bird Sanctuary. The famous Nine Sisters Peaks of the Santa Lucia Mountain range are a short drive away. The wider region is populated with State Parks and other natural wonders, from San Simeon in the North to the Oceano Dunes in the South.

About 12 miles east of Baywood is the picturesque San Luis Obispo, whose downtown area has pleasant, old-fashioned outdoor shopping. Clean and friendly, with many restored Victorian homes, even Oprah and USA Today call it the "Happiest City in America".

A 35 minute drive up the beautiful California coastline towards Big Sur and the Los Padres National Forest will take you to Hearst Castle and San Simeon, while the fabulous central coast wineries of Paso Robles are about 30 minutes to the northeast.
